Inside Your Aftercare Kit
Your kit has been carefully put together with everything you need to keep your new lips clean, protected, and healing beautifully:Your kit has been carefully put together with everything you need to keep your eyes comfortable, protected, and healing beautifully after your eyeliner treatment:
Lubricating Eye Drops – Gentle, preservative-free drops to soothe and hydrate your eyes, helping to relieve any dryness or irritation during the initial healing period.
Vaseline® (Petroleum Jelly) – A thin protective barrier to keep the lash line hydrated and prevent dryness or irritation during healing. Apply sparingly as directed — too much can block airflow and slow the healing process.
Cotton Pads – Soft, absorbent pads for gentle blotting or cleaning without pulling at the delicate skin.
Cotton Tips – Perfect for precise application of Vaseline and for carefully cleaning around the lash line without disturbing the healing area.
First of all — thank you for trusting True Skin Clinic with your treatment.
Whether you’ve just had brows, lips, eyeliner, or SMP done, the way you care for your skin in the next few days will make all the difference to your results.
We’ve put everything you need right here, so you can follow along step-by-step.
Liner Aftercare – Healing Timeline & Tips
Days 1–2:
Eyelids may feel tight, swollen, or tender. Pigment will look bold — this is normal.
Redness or puffiness should subside within 24–48 hours.
Days 3–7:
Swelling should settle. Light peeling or flaking may occur — don’t rub or pick.
Colour will begin to soften and lighten.
Days 8–21:
Liner may appear patchy or faded — pigment will gradually resurface and settle.
Days 42–64:
Perfecting session — we refine and adjust any areas that need balancing.
General Rules
Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area — let any flaking or scabs shed naturally.
Keep the area dry for at least 7 days — avoid soaking, swimming, saunas, and steam.
Avoid sweating (gym, hot yoga, intense workouts) for one week — sweat contains salt, which can fade pigment.
No makeup or skincare products on the treated area until healed.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks — UV fades pigment quickly.
Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid sleeping face-down for the first week.
If lymph fluid appears, gently dab it away with a clean tissue — do not rub.
